Benefits of Expo Products discussed at Border Governors Conference (August 13-15, 2008)

Los Angeles, September 16, 2008 — Expo Industries, a leader in stucco manufacturing, discussed
the benefits of the industry’s first “green” stucco product—GX2 Premium Exterior Stucco and Expo
Cure with Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger highlighting the conference “Building Green
Economies” theme for 2008.

The focus of the conference, which included 10 Border Governors, was increasing the number of
green companies, green initiatives and green public-private partnerships to help create a thriving
green economic border region with Mexico.

“Over 60 companies presented their innovative products and services during the Green Technology
Exposition” said Ben Garcia, “With our increasing desire to provide products that offer solutions to
the problems facing our industry, we joined the conference to showcase our achievements with our
new ‘green’ product line. We were honored to speak directly with Governor Schwarzenegger about
the impact our unique products will have on water conservation, fuel savings, use of Post Consumer
Recycled Content, increased productivity and other factors in the evolving market.”

The conference provided information to over 800 top aides from the ten states represented for
